Incubators: they’re not just for chickens any more!
Here at TGS, we have been incubating on our new website for well over a year. What took us so long? We take great care in everything we do–and we have so much to share! We hope you’ll take a few minutes to explore the site to find out all you want to know about our school and programs, and how you can be a part of our developing community: We are an incubator for what works with this exceptional population of students with ASD.
Here in Boulder County, business incubators are emerging all around us. They seek to energize and synergize entrepreneurial ventures in our community and beyond. The start-up buzz is here to stay, and TGS is part of it. We are a collaborative work-in-progress, in partnership with our students, their families, and the community. We foster innovation by accepting and celebrating differences, and empowering our students with the skills they need to bring their creative ideas to life.
At TGS, we see ourselves as an incubator for more than just ideas. We provide a conducive environment for student growth in all aspects of their development. In this first series of blog posts, we’ll look at different aspects of incubation, how they play out at TGS, and what they are teaching us about our students with ASD.
